Packed full of features you’ll expect from a high-end seat and with a price tag that won’t break the bank, there’s a lot about this seat that ya can’t not like.

Fully Customizable Settings
What I like about the remote is how well it’s laid out on the face with little pictures and symbols telling you what’s what just by looking.
With the remote you can tell it to stop, dry, spray, adjust the temp and all that jazz or by pressing the auto-button and let do all the work for you.
If you want to go down the programmable route, the remote will save the settings you give it and will store it for next time. You can store 2 different settings of 2 different users whichever the case may be.
Endless Warm Water
This seat gives you an endless supply of warm water for the cleansings which I think is a better system over having a tank system. To me, having this removes the urgency feeling of getting everything cleaned before the runs cold.
Summertime it’s no biggy as the water is pretty warm, but imaging running out of warm water in the wintertime if you don’t live in the tropics?
Installation
Installing the Brondell swash 1400 is pretty straight forward and the seat comes with all the bits you’ll need for a standard installation.
There may be some extra stuff you will need to supply or alter depending on the location of water and the distances away from your toilet.
You should be able to install is yaself without the need for a plumber. With everything going right and all the planets are aligned allow around half hr for the install.
You’ll also need a power outlet fairly close by, as the seat does come with a 3.5′ power cord. You could run an extension cord if you don’t have an outlet that is in reach of the cord length if push comes to shove.

Soft Closing Lid
Another good feature that this seat has is the slow closing lid and seat mechanism. This function has saved a ton of expensive seats being dropped or slammed down and busted and also we know toddlers like to mingle and play and slow closing seats help to stop little fingers from getting jammed or worse hurt.
Nozzles
The Brondell 1400 Swash uses stainless steel dual nozzles over others that use plastic. Stainless steel is much easier to keep clean, will last you longer and more hygienic than plastic.

For extra peace-of-mind, the nozzles can be sterilized at any time with an on-demand sterilizing wash that uses silver nanoparticles to rinse the nozzles clean.
Warm Air Dryer

This seat compared to the swash 1400 does lack some of the features as its higher-end brother like the built-in night light, the one-touch auto mode and there are fewer settings overall.
The seat is still heated seat, endless warm water and a warm air dryer, slow-closing lid and seat. Dual stainless steel nozzles with nozzle sterilization using the silver nanotechnology.
At the time of writing this, there wasn’t a lot of difference in the pricing between these two seats.
