My Review: Here’s My Thoughts And Opinions On the Kohler Puretide k-5724-0 Non-Electric Bidet Toilet Seat…
First things first, this bidet seat is a non-electric style seat and is suited for those who are new to the whole bidet set up and want to try one before lashing out on a more expensive electric heated bidet seat.
It is not a state of the art bidet by any means but it does hold some features that the dearer seats have for an idea if it will suit you.
Now that we have covered that, let us dive right into this review and check out what you get with this product.
A fine touch that makes this seat look luxury is the fact that it has slow closing hinges so no more slamming the lid or seat down on to the bowl.
This to me, all toilet seats these days should be standard as I consider this a fantastic safety device for those who have young kids.
I can still remember to this day my youngest slamming our at the time heavy epoxy handcrafted toilet seat down on to her little fingers, jamming between the lid and seat. The tears and noise she made so from there on I made sure we only had soft closing seats.
That was a lesson well taught.
With a continuous flow of water, the need to use toilet paper could be a thing of the past as the KOHLER K-5724-0 Puretide Elongated Manual Bidet Toilet Seat supplies full water cleanse through the single wand that is controlled by the handle to the side of the seat.
The self-cleaning wand automatically rinses itself after each and every use and with the manually operated handle, it requires no batteries or power to run.
After years of trial and error designing the perfect seat, Kohler has produced this ergonomically designed seat that is designed for comfort and support.

Customer Opinion On The Kohler Puretide K5724-0 Bidet:
From the customer feedback and reviews left on Amazon.com, out of over 250 reviews at the time of writing out of all those reviews 75% or 198 of the review were positive giving this product an average 4-star rating.
Most of the 4 and 5-star reviews left say that it was easy to install and works like it says it does. Easy to use and would buy another when the time comes.
Also, there are quite a few reviews as well as stating and giving it only a 1 and 2-star rating.
From those reviews, from what I can they are mainly directed at faulty parts, not all parts were in the box and one lady said that it looked like the seat had been used and the T tap was cross threaded right from the gecko.
Another customer said that the round seat was too small for a male doing his business. Measuring at only 9.75″ long it really doesn’t leave a lot of room to move if you know what I mean. My guess the elongated seat would have been a better pick for him maybe.
As you can see there are some mixed reactions and reviews with this product. All and all for an entry-level bidet seat and my opinion thee non-electric bidet seat craps all over those cheap bidet attachments that attach to your existing toilet seat.
Maybe that could be better suited for your needs and what you want to achieve out of a bidet seat. Have a look on the homepage for other options and seats.
